Gauri Deshpande is a pianist, composer, music producer, and sound engineer based in Mumbai, India. Her work brings together musicianship, composition, and sound technology, spanning original music, ambient and electronic production, mixing, and mastering.

She holds a Master’s degree in Music Technology from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), USA, where her work explored the creative possibilities that emerge at the intersection of music and technology.

As a pianist and composer, Gauri brings a musician’s perspective to production and engineering. Her work is shaped by an attention to tone, space, texture and dynamics, with a particular interest in creating music that is atmospheric, immersive and emotionally nuanced.

Her music production work draws on piano and keyboards, synthesis, electronic textures and sound design to create original compositions and sonic environments for independent music and visual media.

Alongside her creative work, Gauri provides mixing and mastering for artists and producers. Her approach is centred on the music itself—bringing clarity, depth and cohesion to a production while preserving its individual character and intent.
